Overview

XPLM integrate2 manages SEE Electrical Expert  design data and the generated manufacturing data inside PTC Windchill and Siemens Teamcenter PLM systems.

XPLM Integrate2 is an add-on to SEE Electrical Expert that enables seamless integration between SEE Electrical Expert and PTC Windchill & Siemens Teamcenter PLM systems . It allows bi-directional synchronization of data, including attributes and BOMs, directly from the SEE Electrical Expert environment. This integration streamlines workflows by automating data exchange and reducing manual errors. Users can manage PLM objects, access version control, and participate in release processes. Centralized data management ensures consistency and traceability across departments. Overall, it enhances collaboration, improves data accuracy, and accelerates product development cycles.

  • Document management
    • Creation of a new SEE project in the PLM:
      • From project template
      • From existing project (duplication – with new/cleaned PLM meta data)
    • Search PLM project directly from SEE
    • Opening in SEE of a project stored in the PLM
    • Save to PLM:
      • Save the SEE project into the PLM
      • Export documents in PDF from SEE to the PLM for viewing
      • Export reports in XLS, CSV, xml from SEE to the PLM
    • Bidirectional synchronization of project attributes
    • Version SEE project from the PLM
    • View a SEE project from the PLM (using .pdf format)
    • Update local SEE environment.
  • BOM Management
    • Export structured Bills Of Material from SEE to the PLM
    • Project changes update the PLM BOM
    • Compare with existing BOM in PLM, and show the changes in the BOM in comparison dialog.
    • Missing in PLM: Shows Tags (Functional components) from SEE that could not be added to the PLM’ BOM because article does not exist.
    • Unreleased or Obsolete in PLM: Shows linked BOM articles that have not been released and are still in working state, or are obsolete.
    • Unassigned parts: Shows BOM articles without Tag (Functional component) or the opposite.
    • Create missing articles into the PLM articles db via the BOM comparison dialog.
  • Equipment catalogue synchronization 
    • Compare parts existing in SEE Catalogue with parts existing in PLM/ERP article db.
    • Update parts attributes from the PLM/ERP article db (eg with PLM/ERP number)
    • Create missing parts into SEE Catalogue
    • Create missing parts into PLM/ERP article db
