Workshop Description

Day 1

On day one of this course, you will learn the basic functions of Caneco BT.

Prerequisites

You will need relevant electrical engineering education, knowledge of standards, knowledge of electrical components and their use, experience with software in a Windows environment.

Learning Outcomes
You will become familiar with the use of the fundamental functions available in Caneco BT. The course emphasizes the dimensioning of simple low-voltage electrical installations.
After completing the course, you will be able to use the software’s functions to perform calculations and generate documentation more quickly and efficiently, thereby saving time.

Day 2

On day 2 of this course, you will learn the advanced functions of Caneco BT.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of Caneco BT equivalent to the Day 1 course.

Learning Outcomes
You will become proficient in using the more advanced functions available in Caneco BT. The course emphasizes the dimensioning of more complex low-voltage electrical installations and analysis of the results of these dimensioning processes.
After completing the course, you will be able to use the functions to perform your own calculations, analyses, and documentation more quickly and efficiently, thereby saving time.

Who should attend

  • New Caneco BT users and power engineers who wish to increase their skills using the Caneco BT application to perform LV systems.
  • Current users seeking a refresher course
  • Knowledge of LV power system engineering concepts is highly recommended for those attending this workshop
