Workshop Description

  • This presential 5 day workshop in Lima provides the skills, knowledge, and techniques necessary to become proficient in ETAP to conduct power system studies, from modeling to analysis. The purpose of this workshop is to develop a thorough understanding of ETAP’s capabilities and analytical techniques to solve a variety of practical problems.
  • An overview of the ETAP user interface will be covered including System Modeling (sources, branches, loads, protective devices, etc.), One-Line Diagram, Libraries, 3-Dimensional Database, Report Manager, Wizard, etc.
  • An ETAP workstation is provided for each attendee.
  • Small Group to ensure the best learning experience using real live cases of study.
  • This workshop will be conducted in Spanish.

UTEC will provide a certificate to participants who have attended 100% of the classes and pass the at the end of the course. The document is signed by the Directorate of Executive Education.

  • New ETAP users and power engineers who wish to increase their skills using the ETAP application to perform system studies
  • Current users seeking a refresher course
  • Knowledge of power system engineering concepts is highly recommended for those attending this workshop
