Battery Discharge & Sizing in Power Systems - presented in Spanish

Webinar Description

ETAP Battery Sizing and Discharge allows you to verify the performance of an existing battery or size a battery by simulating situations such as plant shutdowns and emergency conditions and their effect on the operation of the electrical system. The module calculates battery capacity, voltage, current, and output power as the battery discharges through a duty cycle. The duty cycle of a battery can be calculated from the sum of the charge current or the charge flow calculations.

What you will learn in this training?

In this webinar, we will demonstrate the duty cycle of the battery, calculated from the load flow. The Battery Discharge Analysis also provides information on the behavior of the electrical voltage on the bus and the branch power along with the results. We will also show how the module complies with the IEEE 308, 485 and 946 standards, allowing to show an integrated AC and DC system; as well as the possible control of its operation. We will show how you can obtain analysis results of the electrical voltage, its ampacity with a duty cycle of random and non-random loads; as well as exporting the data to Microsoft Excel.

The webinar starts at 12:00 PM CDT (UTC-5) and is broadcast in Spanish. The link to join will be sent from gotowebinar.
