ETAP User-Defined Dynamic Module (UDM) is used to build complex control diagrams for machines & renewable energy systems via a graphical editor and includes solvers for simulating system dynamics. UDM Scope Plot View is ideal for comparing & analyzing these dynamic simulation results from single or multiple cases in a quick & efficient manner.

UDM Scope Plot View enables you to:

  • Reduce time in performing operational grid code compliance with dynamic parameter tuning and estimation studies
  • Detect & analyze abnormal stability conditions, including loss of synchronism, machine failure to start, power oscillations, voltage and frequency excursions, overload and overcurrent conditions
  • Evaluate the damping power of your signals and suggest which ones could be undamped, over damped or critically damped.
