IGE/ETAP has developed close relationships with electrical equipment manufacturers through its expertise in multi-manufacturer data and its “EDIELEC” database format.

As a result, partnership contracts and maintenance agreements* have been established with their Corporate or local management to provide the best quality assurance for the technical databases published in our Caneco software.

"Data Calculation" Partners

The partnership between IGE/ETAP and the Manufacturer covers the Manufacturer’s so-called “Calculation” catalog: Technical characteristics of devices (circuit breakers, switches, fuses, etc.), Selectivity and coordination tables, Tripping, limitation, and energy curves.

All the information enables Caneco users to automatically determine the optimal equipment while complying with normative conditions or to choose it manually.

Beyond electrical equipment, our partnerships have been extended to new product families:

Low voltage cables;
Prefabricated busbars;
EV charging stations;
Cables for EV charging stations.

To benefit from the technical support of manufacturers: provision of databases, catalogs, and documentation, interactions with product managers during the analysis and entry phases;
To enrich their public catalog with additional technical data not previously included;
To anticipate the work required to update their catalog and offer it to Caneco users in a timely manner;
To extend the collaboration to all French or export markets where the Caneco offer is sold (technical differences, product ranges reserved for certain countries…).
