4th Annual MENA User Conference, November 2019

ETAP MENA invited the electrical engineering community of MENA region to join their 4th User Conference in Dubai, on November 20th, 2019.

This year’s Conference theme was “Digital Control & Analytical Intelligence”.

The conference gave the attendees an opportunity to learn more about how ETAP’s products & solutions can be used effectively to achieve their digital goals and how they can monitor and analyze their power networks with ease. They could also get information on the latest and smartest features available on ETAP 19.5 – the latest version of ETAP software.

The event opened with a keynote by ETAP’s CEO & President, Dr. Farrokh Shokooh, providing an overview on using ETAP as the foundation for Power Digitization followed by a session on ETAP Digital Twin philosophy and how it can solve legacy challenges from VP & Global Director, Mr. Shaikh Sahid Hossain. There were also couple of sessions given by CTO, Mr. Tanuj Khandelwal on Integrated Power System Design & Operation Technology and using etap GridTM effectively for T&D sector.

Apart from these, there was a customer experience sharing session, a panel discussion on Role of Automation & Data Exchange in the Industrial Evolution and a session on ETAP hardware (etap iCETM).

Attendees also had the advantage of experiencing live demonstration of our products & solutions displayed in our Demo area and interacting with ETAP experts for all their queries.

Finally, the event ended with a raffle draw of Apple iPad with etapAPP pre-installed which was won by one of the industry personnel from L&T.
