IRVINE, Calif. – January 29, 2023 -   ETAP, the industry, and technology leader in power system design and operation and L&T EduTech, an initiative under Larsen & Toubro, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). As part of this agreement, ETAP will support L&T EduTech on its mission to bridge the gap between industry and academia by providing its flagship software and solutions to L&T EduTech. 

In the picture above:  L&T EduTech CEO Sabyasachi Das and Kamala Kannan, Director & Vice President (SAARC) of ETAP Automation exchanged the MoU during a Faculty Development Program at the L&T Manapakkam campus. 

L&T EduTech has been developing industry-specific academia programs for the engineering sector, with the goal to share the rich knowledge and experience that L&T has collected over decades. The programs ensure that students get hands-on exposure to core engineering concepts and their applications. In alignment with this vision and to advance the programmes further, L&T EduTech partners with various global tech providers, granting learners access to the latest technology.

“This partnership with ETAP will add power to our electrical engineering programs, specifically enriching our courses in electrical design, operation, and automation of power systems,” Sabyasachi Das remarked after signing the agreement.

“Empowering future engineers with state-of-the-art software technology is a top priority and a long-standing tradition for ETAP. We are successfully working with hundreds of universities, providing students with the opportunity to get hands-on experience with the software tools needed to succeed in their engineering careers. 

This initiative additionally reinforces ETAP’s commitment to contribute to the Government of India’s vision for Empowering Youth of National, through Skill Development under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna by Technical Institutions (PMKVY-TI).
