Upgrade to Multi-User Parallel Power System Modeling & Analysis

ETAP NetPM™  (Network Modeling Management) is a seismic shift in efficient project execution. NetPM allows for parallel power system modeling & studies, drastically shrinking project delivery timeframe from months to weeks. Traditionally, projects are planned and executed based on sequential engineer tasks. This was simply due to the fact that only one engineer could modify the project at a time. Further, synchronizing unforeseen modeling changes was tedious and time consuming.

NetPM parallelizes the modeling and system study tasks between multiple engineers allowing for team collaboration and real-time data synchronization (optional). Multiple engineers simultaneously work on the same model and run various studies. 

NetPM provides a consolidated foundation and time-saving functionalities for collecting, modifying, validating, managing, and coordinating the ETAP electrical network models in a distributed database to serve the needs of the enterprise.

NetPM allows users to concurrently work on the same project. Major capabilities include:

  • Simultaneous multi-user model creation, data collection, and validation
  • Global connectivity via etapMQ™ for private / public cloud 
  • Topology synchronization and data validation between ETAP Desktops and etapAPP™ Tablets
  • Project Manager review of changes with accept / reject decision

ETAP multi-dimensional database allows for unlimited graphical visualization, network topology configurations, engineering planning data, and operational parameters within the same project database. Combine them to create unlimited scenarios for engineering studies or operations planning: 

  • Eliminate multiple copies and combine all planning cases into a single database
  • Avoid data discrepancies and errors
  • Execute scenarios individually or as a batch
  • Save on costly tasks like rerunning scenarios and updating study reports
