Workshop Description
- The purpose of this introductory hands-on workshop is to learn how to utilize ETAP’s eTraX module to perform traction simulation modelling & analysis.
- This workshop covers a range of ETAP eTraX functionalities used to design, model & simulate a traction power system and analyze the outcome.
- It begins with the basics of track model creation using geospatial module, development of train rolling stock, catenary supply conductors, conversion to ETAP’s one line diagram & simulation of the complete system. The course includes exclusive modelling of traction components, traction system analysis using eTraX module.
- All courses are limited to 25 participants, so please register early!
3 Online Sessions each day
9 AM- 4 PM UK Standard Time
Requirements:
- Windows 10 Computer (i5+ CPU).
- Win10Pro 64bit OS
- Minimum 8 GB Ram
- Reliable Internet access so attendee can connect to ETAP License server during workshop.
- Dual Monitors are recommended but not required.
Who should attend
- New ETAP users and electrical power system engineers who wish to increase their skills using the ETAP application to perform traction studies in Railway Sectors (Metros, High Speed Rail etc.)
- Current users seeking a refresher course
- Knowledge of electrical power system engineering concepts is highly recommended for those attending this workshop
