New IEEE 1584 - 2018 Arc Flash: Incident Energy Calculation Using ETAP

Evening
Feb 26, 2019
Houston, United States

The Houston ETAP User Group will meet at Bechtel Corporation.

User Group Description

Social, 5:30 pm
Networking opportunity for attendees, snacks, and refreshments will be provided.

Presentation, 6:00 pm
This User Group Meeting will provide an overview of the fundamental differences between the new (2018) and existing (2002) arc flash methods. To better understand how the new model combines empirical and arc flash physical behavior, the presentation will cover background and insights into the model development validation.

The presenter will give an analytical opinion on how arc flash incident energy study changes using the new method, pointing out the differences.
