Workshop Description

  • The morning session of this hands-on workshop will provide details background on DC Arc Flash and the various calculation methods available in the ETAP study case.
  • The most awaited arc-flash incident energy calculation method is almost ready for release by IEEE 1584. The afternoon session will provide a preview of the fundamental differences between the new and existing (2002) arc-flash method.
  • This workshop does not include any refresher on fundamentals of power system modeling in ETAP.
