FAQs
- How do I improve my chances of being accepted to present?
- To improve your chances, the review board will be using the title and abstract to evaluate the presentation. Provide a descriptive title, and in the abstract, describe the material your presentation will cover, and what is to be gained by those learning from your expertise. Be specific about the industry challenges your topic might help solve. You can also share how you are advancing practice in your field, driving greater sustainability in your projects, leveraging data across the project lifecycle, and developing deeper understanding of the topics, trends and technologies shaping today’s industries. We are interested to learn what you achieved, how you made those decisions, and why it matters.
- How will I know if my presentation proposal has been accepted?
- We will notify you by email. The ETAP Spark Global content committee will start reviewing the presentation proposals as they are submitted. The acceptance process will continue through the end of July.
- I have submitted my talk but now I would like to edit the title and the abstract a little bit. How do I do that?
- You can email us at user.conference@etap.com and we will make the necessary edits for you.
- Our company is ETAP’s partner. Can we submit a paper and present at ETAP Spark Global?
- We suggest you reach out to your customer and submit a joint presentation. At ETAP Spark Global, the presentations should be led by the customer with the partner supporting. While we might have a recommendation for splitting, we are often flexible. The important thing is to place the customers story foremost – the challenge, the solution implemented, and benefits accomplished.
- What is the deadline for submitting a presentation?
- Please refer to our Important Dates section to learn about the deadlines.
- Are you going to record my presentation?
- Yes. All the presentations are being recorded and then published as a Case Study on the ETAP Resource Center.
- Where can I find the guidelines and resources for preparing my Case Study?
- Recording guidelines, presentation template, and presentation background images can be downloaded from the Presenter Resource Hub.
