Description:

ETAP is seeking a Power System Engineer with knowledge of modeling and control of renewable plants, microgrids, and inverter-based resources and a passion to design and develop software applications in this area. Our Control R&D division is developing leading-edge applications and solving challenging and complex problems in integrating renewable energy resources into the grid and microgrids.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, develop specifications, and test software applications related to the design, modeling, and energy management of renewable energy systems.
  • Perform studies for advanced applications such integration of renewable energy resources, microgrids, and renewable power plants.

Qualification:
  • Experience in modeling and analysis of renewable plants, grid codes, and microgrids.
  • Knowledge of power system control, dynamics, and optimization
  • Capabilities in research, design, and testing
  • Ability to follow various industrial standards and write specifications.
  • Highly motivated, self-managed, detail-oriented, and well-organized
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of programming in C++, C#, or Python

 


Education:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

This is an Onsite position with a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.

Salary: $80,000 - 95,000 / year
