Workshop Description

  • The 3-days hands-on workshop will provide the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary to conduct power system studies, from modeling to analysis.  The purpose of this workshop is to develop an understanding of ETAP's capabilities and analytical techniques to solve a variety of practical problems.
  • An overview of the ETAP user interface will be covered including System Modeling (sources, branches, loads, protective devices, etc.), One-Line Diagram, Libraries (data and interface), 3-Dimensional Database (presentation, configuration, and revision data), Report Manager, Wizard, TCC Plots, etc.
  • In addition, performing Load Flow, Short-Circuit, PD Coordination & Selectivity, Harmonics, Motor Parameter Estimation and Transient Stability will be demonstrated.
 

Who should attend

New ETAP users and power engineers who wish to increase their skills in performing system studies using the different modules of ETAP.
