Annual User Group Meeting South Korea

ETAP South Korea held its annual User Group Meeting / User Conference on October 13 in Seoul, South Korea. Over 200 ETAP Users attended.

Jihong Kim (Senior Researcher of Hyundai Heavy Industries, President of ETAP UG Korea), Bonghee Kim (Prof. at Myongji University, Adviser of ETAP UG Korea), Bryan Youn (President of SDS), Jaeun Kim (Prof. at Chungbuk National University), Gangwan Lee (President of Daehwa Power Engineering), Minho Yang (Assistant Manager of Daewoo E&C) and Saeyong Kim (Manager of Jo Engineering) updated Users with the latest ETAP activities and presented case studies. Tanuj Khandelwal (Vice President of ETAP) gave insights into the upcoming ETAP 16 release, new features and capabilities, and invited the Users to celebrate ETAP’s 30th Anniversary.

The attendees shared their practical experiences, as well as interacted and networked with other ETAP Users.

English Summary: ETAP is the one of best power system analysis programs, used by more than 70% of South Korea’s electric power industry. Every year, ETAP Users gather and hold this event. The 12th annual meeting was held at the Grand Convention (Seoul) on October 13, 2016.
