ETAP Geospatial Electrical Diagram provides an editable environment for electrical assets and connectivity combined with geospatial data. Geospatial information can be imported from many third party systems or can be modeled directly within Geospatial Electrical Diagram. ETAP Geospatial Electrical Diagram automatically generates substation, equivalent circuit and feeder one-line diagrams using the corresponding geographical data of power distribution systems.
Intelligent Network Builders Geospatial Electrical Diagram

Electrical system data is synchronized from GIS into ETAP thereby maintaining the relationship between them. The results are displayed on one-line diagrams and geographical background maps providing a seamless view of the power system within ETAP.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Electrical Diagram Benefits

  • Reduce data-entry costs by using GIS-updated engineering data for system studies
  • Automatic error correction for voltage and phase avoids duplicate/incorrect data entry
  • Automatic electrical equipment warehouse generation optimized database size
  • Full control of analysis results displayed on the GIS electrical diagram
