ETAP GIS Map superimposes electrical one-line diagrams with the corresponding geographical maps of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems, thereby providing an interactive tool for accessing, analyzing, and managing geo-linked information. Engineering Consulting Services can synchronize relevant electrical equipment information from GIS into ETAP and maintain the relationship between them. This allows you to open unlimited views of GIS maps within ETAP, allowing you to manipulate GIS maps while working in ETAP. The analysis results are then displayed on geographical maps providing an effortless view of the power system states within the GIS Map. Our aim is to provide you necessary services and tools that supplement the functionality of performing electrical analysis with the ease of reading a geographical map. This will significantly reduce hours needed to perform system studies.
ETAP GIS Map is a fully integrated solution with ETAP and developed by Engineering Consulting Services. This provides us the flexibility to customize the data synchronization to be tailored to individual client needs. ETAP GIS Map has direct communication with ESRI geodatabase and map documents.
