A Unified Digital Twin PlatformDesign, Operation, and Automation
Today’s microprocessor-based protection relays require large number of settings, complex scheme logics and data communication to be operational. As recently reported by North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), 28% of relay misoperations are due to incorrect settings and logic errors. These errors mainly stem from the existing relay testing procedures that do not provide a proper mechanism to easily and effectively evaluate the performance of all settings, logics, and the protection system as a whole. In this webinar, ETAP StarZ™ software will be introduced as a new solution to minimize setting errors and the time required to perform protection and coordination studies, especially for transmission and distribution systems. Behind the intuitive StarZ user interface is a powerful engine for modeling and evaluating model-specific element outputs such as distance, directional, load encroachment. This allows the user to interact with the actual relay settings and protection functions while obtaining realistic responses. StarZ Key Features:
