Workshop Description

  • The purpose of this introductory hands-on workshop is to learn how to conduct eTraX analysis as well as provide a refresher on modeling power systems using ETAP

    eTraX™ software.

  • The workshop covers the range of eTraX Functionalities used to solve key industry requirements such as AC & DC power system, Traction substation design and placement, planned/unplanned events, timetable optimization and energy demand, rolling stock library and infrastructure design.

  • An ETAP workstation is provided for each attendee.

Who should attend

  • ETAP eTraX workshop is recommended for New and Current ETAP Users.
  • This series of workshops are to employ ETAP eTraX Software in more complex cases and how to fully utilize ETAP capabilities to conduct Traction power studies most efficiently.
  • This course is recommended for Traction power engineers, designers and operators.
