Operation Technology, Inc. today announced the immediate availability of ETAP 5.0, the latest version of the power system industry standard. ETAP 5.0 includes seven new modules, greatly expanded libraries, updated real-time functionality, and major enhancements to most existing modules. Among the new modules is a fully integrated and completely redesigned device coordination/selectivity package called ETAP Star. A detailed list of new modules and major enhancements is available online.
“ETAP 5.0 is a new milestone to the power system analysis industry by supporting projects within generation, transmission, distribution, and industrial applications. Our products empower electrical engineers to design and analyze power systems more efficiently and productively. OTI has enhanced ETAP with many industry specific features and capabilities based on years of carefully listening to user feedback. We plan to continue the tradition of excellence as an industry leader,” said Dr. Farrokh Shokooh, President and CEO of Operation Technology, Inc.
ETAP redefines power system design and analysis by enabling electrical engineers to seamlessly and efficiently use multiple types of analysis in a single project. ETAP offers a full line of engineering tools for power system modeling, design, analysis, protection, and coordination.
