| Customer Success Profile: Entergy |
| Why Entergy Standardized on ETAP with a Corporate License |
Entergy Fossil Operations needed to standardize the company’s power system analysis studies under one system, which was a significant step due to the company’s large size.
Entergy Fossil Operations had already been familiar with ETAP. In addition to using ETAP in a few locations, Entergy’s Nuclear Operations has been standardized on ETAP for years utilizing it throughout the nuclear plants they manage. Furthermore, internal research proved that ETAP’s capabilities matched the company’s needs better than other software packages, which prompted the decision to make ETAP the company standard. |

One of the best ways to implement a company standard is through the purchase of a Corporate License, which made economic sense for the company. Entergy’s Fossil Operations division already had existing licenses with plans for significant expansion. At that point, the Corporate License became an easy financial decision allowing the company to save thousands of dollars on additional licenses. Click to read the full story.
