The ETAP Nuclear Utility User Group is open to any and all client institutions of ETAP licensed as nuclear users. All users within a nuclear client institution using ETAP to support the activities of a nuclear utility are encouraged to participate in the annual conference and its related activities. ETAP users with a non-nuclear license who support nuclear activities can participate as an associate member.
Conference and Symposium Goals
The purpose of the ETAP Nuclear Conference and Symposium is to provide feedback and suggestions directly to ETAP's R&D group to help with the development of detailed specifications for future modules and enhancements. This event provides the opportunity to focus on detail requirements and needs specific to power generation plants and the nuclear industry. Many features and capabilities of ETAP have been developed based on the direct participation of ETAP Nuclear Utility User Group. Topics discussed at previous NUUG Conferences and Symposiums.
- Evaluate and review recent revisions to ETAP.
- Allow and encourage the exchange of member experiences and ideas for the use of ETAP.
- Agree upon future recommended enhancements to ETAP.
- Address 10-CFR-21 from a user perspective.
- Provide consolidated and prioritized feedback information to ETAP in relation to practical operating experience from the perspective of the nuclear power industry.
- Share techniques and philosophies used in analyzing the auxiliary systems of nuclear power plants.
- Network and interact with other ETAP nuclear users.
- Be the first to learn about the new and future developments of ETAP.
- Get answers to specific questions regarding ETAP.
