Farrokh Shokooh, PhD, PE OTI 总裁＆首席执行官 IEEE院士 Shokooh博士曾任职Barbay Engineers公司５年；美国 路易斯安那州立大学副教授；美国加州大学欧文分校的高级客座讲师。在１９８６年创立ＯＴＩ公司以前曾任６年Fluor公司的主任工程师。 他的教学和研究兴趣包括电机和电力系统的数学建模及动态分析。他的工业经验包括电力系统概念设计， 控制，运行和电力系统的计算机软件设计开发。他的专长包括电缆系统，接地，短路，暂态稳定和保护装置整定等方面。 Shokooh博士是IEEE 院士，多个ＩＥＥＥ委员会和工作小组的成员，美国加州注册电气工程师。 |

| Keynote Speaker: | Farrokh Shokooh, PhD, PE Operation Technology, Inc. President & CEO IEEE Fellow Dr. Shokooh was associated with Barbay Engineers, Inc. for five years; has served on the faculty at Louisiana State University as an associate Professor; and was a visiting lecturer at the University of California, Irvine. He was a staff engineer for Fluor Corporation for six years before founding Operation Technology, Inc. in 1986. His teaching and research interests include mathematical modeling and dynamic analysis of electrical machines and power systems. His industrial experience ranges from conceptual design, control and operation of power systems to computer software design and development. His areas of expertise includes cable systems, grounding, short-circuit, transient stability, and protective device coordination. Dr. Shokooh is a Fellow of IEEE and an active member of a number of the IEEE subcommittees and Working Groups. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of California. |

Dai, PhD, PE Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer / Sr. Vice President Advanced Technologies Dr. Dai has over 30 years of combined industry and academic experience in electrical and power systems. He joined ETAP in 1992. His expertise includes power system modeling, design, analysis and studies in various areas. He has published over 30 technical papers and articles in IEEE transactions, magazines, conference proceedings, and other publications. He is an member of IEEE Industrial Application Society (IAS) executive board, Standard Association Product Advisory Board, past chairman of Power System Analysis Subcommittee of IAS, and chairman for several IEEE standards. He is a senior member of IEEE and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of California. |

| Description: | This hands-on workshop provides the skills, knowledge, and techniques necessary to become proficient in ETAP to conduct power system studies, from modeling to analysis. The purpose of this workshop is to develop a thorough understanding of ETAP’s capabilities and analytical techniques to solve a variety of practical problems. | |
