Description:   This hands-on workshop provides the skills, knowledge, and techniques necessary to become proficient in ETAP to conduct power system studies, from modeling to analysis. The purpose of this workshop is to develop a thorough understanding of ETAP’s capabilities and analytical techniques to solve a variety of practical problems.

An overview of the ETAP user interface will be covered including System Modeling (sources, branches, loads, protective devices, etc.), One-Line Diagram, Libraries (data and interface), 3-Dimensional Database (presentation, configuration, and engineering data), Cable Systems (ampacity and sizing), Transmission Lines (line constants, ampacity, and sag and tension), Report Manager, Wizard, etc.

Delegates are required to bring their own laptop. If you have administrative restrictions on your laptop, please contact us to ensure that the software is loaded prior to training.

The course is accredited with the SAIEE and has 3 CPD points.
     
Who should attend:   This workshop is tailored for engineers that are new to ETAP or who have been working on ETAP but require a formal training course to grasp the full capabilities of ETAP software.
     
Cost and Registration:
  R 7900 (ex vat)
R 2200 (ex vat) Dongle hire is mandatory if you do not have an ETAP dongle or if your dongle does not have ETAP 11 with all the modules covered in this training course.
