Paramount among the new features is an enhancement to open-phase fault analysis (OPFA) capability to simulate double open-phase faults. This enhancement is in response to the requirements for the nuclear generation plants to conduct single and double open-phase fault studies for their off-site power supplies which helps to increase the safety and reliability of nuclear power facilities.
Developed in conjunction with the ETAP Nuclear Utility Users Group, the new feature set is consistent with the Company’s long-standing process of working closely with users in the development of new ETAP products.
“ETAP 12.6 is an important software release, not just for users in the nuclear power industry, but for any facility for whom operational safety and reliability are uncompromising,” said Shervin Shokooh, Chief Operating Officer of ETAP. “The enhancements in this new release are evidence of ETAP’s commitment to listen to our customers’ needs, and respond quickly with solutions that resolve our customers’ challenges.”
