ETAP Scholarship Update

ETAP Scholarship Program

ETAP Scholarship Program

The ETAP Scholarship program is in full swing, and reaction to it has been very positive. In addition to a monetary sum, all students selected will receive an ETAP 5 day training session at our main office in Irvine, California (travel not included). While there, you will meet and interact with the engineers that have developed this world-class program.

This hands-on workshop provides the skills, knowledge, and techniques necessary to conduct power system studies, from modeling to analysis, in ETAP. The purpose of this workshop is to develop a thorough understanding of ETAP’s capabilities and analytical techniques to solve a variety of practical problems.

An overview of the ETAP user interface will be covered including System Modeling (sources, branches, loads, protective devices, etc.), One-Line Diagram, Libraries (data and interface), 3-Dimensional Database (presentation, configuration, and engineering data), Cable Systems (ampacity and sizing), Transmission Lines (line constants, ampacity, and sag and tension), Report Manager, Wizard and more!

The knowledge gained will arm you with power engineering skills that put you in the driver’s seat of your future.

Scholarships are still available but please remember that the cut-off date for the Fall and Winter round of scholarships is November 1st, 2010.
