Expanded Partner Program Launched
An expanded ETAP Partner program has been launched to meet the growing demand for ETAP power systems analysis software and ETAP Real-Time™ power management solution. It’s intended to serve the need of ETAP Solution Providers and System Integrators by improving their market reach and offering increased access to ETAP customers and affiliated organizations.
The ETAP Partner program provides engineering consulting and design firms, as well as power management system and automation companies, with best practices methodologies necessary to build value for ETAP customers. In turn, customers will have assurances that they are working with qualified partners who have experience with applications and solutions based on ETAP software, including ETAP Real-Time implementations.
ETAP Solution Providers deliver power systems designs, studies, and consulting solution services to customers. They are carefully selected firms with personnel who have the skills, knowledge and resources to provide outstanding engineering solutions using ETAP.
ETAP Systems Integrators provide design, installation, integration and first-line support primarily for power management system projects built on an ETAP Real-Time platform.
There are three levels of increasing-participation for Solution Providers and Systems Integrators: Registered, Select, and Preferred. Each level has its requirements and benefits depending on experience, proficiency, and standardization on ETAP. Benefits include special software licensing, maintenance, and training, along with access to priority technical support, a partner portal access for sales, marketing, and technical tools and credentials. The program is worldwide in scope and is not limited to any particular vertical market.

ETAP Technical Support Best in Class
When you set out to build the best power engineering software around, you also make sure you build the best technical support organization possible. Customers continually tell us that the ETAP technical support team is number one in service and assistance and consistently provides an immediate response to their software and engineering questions.
So who are the men and women on the ETAP support team? All are engineers, many of which are highly educated with M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. Most have earned a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and all have numerous years of experience with power engineering and ETAP.
While we are pleased that customers consider us invaluable, we are always looking to improve our process. We have upgraded our network infrastructure to include more bandwidth to ensure faster response time during problem re-creation and to hold Web-based conference and video calls. In addition, we have implemented a remote help system that allows us to tap directly into customer computers when requested to see firsthand what the problem is and walk a customer through the solution. Our help desk software allows us to track tickets efficiently, as well as gather metrics for support analysis and improvement.
For indirect support, our Web site is home to FAQs, tutorials, technical articles, and helpful downloads. We also host and support various ETAP User Groups across the world. Between now and the end of the year, six different meetings will take place in Irvine, CA, Houston, TX, Pasay City, Philippines, Seoul, Korea, and Tokyo, Japan.
Our technical support team is experienced with requests from around the globe, meaning that no matter your questions or location, ETAP can provide solutions unique to your situation.
